My Week Through Selfies and Pictures

Just a post to show what Tennessee life and working in the office of Above Rubies is like. Of course we don't have a wedding going on every week... but there is always something chaotic happening :D February 9 It was a getting chillier. We even got some snow - not really getting very much this year, the Tennesseans all loved it :D The wedding day is getting closer...but we're having a blast together. This girl is so awesome! Some of my favorite/ most used possessions: laptop, set of interchangeable knitting needles, and Bible :)  February 10 During lunch I went on a nice brisk hike up a steep hill. Hemming Esther's wedding dress... getting it all ready for the big day! Celebrating the success of the dress being done! We made got chocolate and watched a movie:) February 11 A long day of editing Power Of Motherhood for Above Rubies. Editing can be fun...but it's tiring on the eyes, too. ;b Febru

Doing What's True

So, I was going to do two different other posts, but neither of them ended up working out for this week, sadfully. (Is that a word?) But thankfully I came up with a plan C. This post. ;) This won't be a long post. Just something for you to think about. ;) Do you sometimes base what you do as right because of the feeling you get or others' reactions? And just because something is hard to do doesn't mean you should do it. A lot of times these factors are important in our decision making. But they aren't the most important. Something is always only right or only wrong, true or false, no matter how other's may applaud or even persecute you or even the feelings of satisfaction you may receive from what you do. Feelings change. People's opinions change. Hardships change according to culture and times. But facts never do.  Hard is good but not ultimate. Do what's right not because of others or what's looked down up

How to Blog With A Cell Phone #2

Hey!  Life where I'm at is busy... but still trying to keep up with my promised post of the week. Amidst work, friends, and kittens, it's pretty tough though. Haha :D ;b Most pictures on my blog I take with my cell phone...except this one of course ;) A while back I did this terrible post  explaining how I blog. Yeah... I still blog with my cell phone, and after like 80+ posts... I hope they are finally getting better... I finally did get a laptop. But my phone has become the natural way to blog... so it's a little difficult transferring everything over. For example, right now I'm too lazy to turn on the laptop, so it's back to the cell phone ;) Of course, a picture of the kittens staying in my room ;) What all do I do and what has changed since the beginning? 1. Well, I got a new phone which has an awesome pink case. This phone allows me to upload pictures straight from it. On my last phone I had to use a place

Children of Our Future

If we look at examples in the Bible, circumstances never stopped God's people from multiplying and becoming a mighty people. In slavery and captivity (Exodus 1:7-12), in foreign lands (Jeremiah 29:4-6), during famine (Genesis 47:27), the command was still the same: "Be fruitful and multiply," Genesis 1:28. Why was this? Could it be that our mindset of needing a perfect atmosphere for children be harmful? If the world is falling apart don't we need something to build it up? What we really need is to have MANY children so that they rise and do what a few of us can not - change the world . I know many of my readers aren't even married yet, but never-the-less this is an important issue that each individual should be decided on before they get into a relationship. Especially if you are a Christian. It is for the cause of Yeshua (Jesus) that we want to prosper and grow. And the most efficient way of doing so is following God's plan (if you marry) t
