For The Love Of A Word

My name is in another book.  This book is called FOR THE LOVE OF A WORD .  It is a collection of encouragement letters and poems for writers.  My name is right under a letter for extroverts.  Because everything is for introverts these days. I decided to "unbox" the package (except I'd already opened it the day before haha). I don't like making videos, but sometimes it's good to do things you hate doing.  My friend Lauren also has a letter in the book, right beside mine! Her letter doesn't discriminate against energy types ... she writes for all writers.  "BUT WHAT IS IN THIS BOOK!?"  I've done an in-depth review of every anthology I've been published in before (two counts as every, right?).  But there are too many pieces in this book.  Of course, since Annie Twitchell organized this, every word in this book sings and cries beauty.  But here are some specific pieces that resonated with me:  Th...

Through The Pages: Author Interview

Interview with Annie Twitchell:  I don’t really know how I first met Annie Twitchell (may have been through a writing or knitting group) but the first time I remember bookmarking her into my memory was when one of my best friends told me, “I’m beta reading this awesome retelling of Rumpelstiltskin.” Intrigued, I messaged Annie and asked if I might beta read, too. Ever since I’ve never been able to turn down the chance to read something of hers. Today I’d love to welcome Annie to Keturah’s Korner.  We'd met on Ravelry! In two of my knitting groups, and in that one writing group. I was so tickled to find you other places online! Tell us about Through The Pages and why it’s so special to YOU! Through the Pages was written, almost as a dare, for my mom's birthday. When I finished up the release of one of my books last August, I asked God what I should write next. He told me I should write a book for my mom. For her birthday this year. I had just under a year in which t...

Spinner of Secrets (Book Review and Release!)

Find it on: Amazon  Goodreads Spinner of Secrets   by Annie Twitchell  I recently had the privilege of beta reading this amazing book!! I was so excited to start it when I heard it was a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin. I must admit - I love fairy tales. Even the ones that are a little bit on the side of this-story-is-so-off-and-this-philosophy-so-unrealistic. Something else, I knew going into this book, was that it had a unique twist on the whole fairy tale love theme. So I was excited.  And not disappointed :)  Back Cover: Where will the journey for love take you? Will it be worth the fight? Letta is a peasant girl, whose father was outlawed and killed when she was small. Though her name means truthful one, she finds herself submitting to her step-father's will, and complying with his lies and trickery. Prince Kyle is her reluctant husband. His mind is focused on one thing: avenging the murder of his childhoo...
