The Social Porcupine

Life is strange. And any one who disagrees - well, we need to hash some things out ;p Lately I've been thinking about rainbows and storms. On a figurative level As real things, I love both. Rain is necessary for my part of the world. Rainbows are beautiful. And storms aren't evil. But.. - with a figurative sense of the two in mind, think of this question, "Would you rather have a rainbow followed by a storm, or the storm first finalized with a rainbow?" I asked a friend this a while back, first giving my answer: It seems my life is often a rainbow before a storm . (I think many of us can relate.) Good things happen. The rainbow is beautiful, wonderful.  But then the storm kicks in. And it's awful. The rainbow is washed away - you have nothing left. And nothing to look forward to. Your rainbow has already happened, and there is no hope of another.  All I have then is the storm. And ever after when something good...

"It's all in the perspective." Is another way of saying "Truth is relative." "There is no objective truth." "Facts are up to the beholder." "I see what I see, you see what you see." (I might take this one with physical things, as for the most part we both would see the same thing, just with our own attitudes backing up the vision.) "Can't be helped. In fact, we just need to learn to accept the fact that our minds are ruled by illusions." "Nothing is real. Nothing is true. Let's just loooove each other and live in happy unity, you doing your thing, I mine." (some contradictions there, don't ya think?) Wait. Hold up a second.  You are going to use illusions as fact!? (Apparently some people on facebook try to) Um... I don't care what you think you see here, it's obvious that this illusion is just an illusion . No matter how hard you argue that ...

Laughter. There's something about it. You either hate it or love it. It can be distracting, addicting, or even contagious – all in good ways. Attractive, beautiful, meaningful. But hopefully it's never repulsive, obnoxious, and disturbing ;b Haha... I mean some would think so… But… really, what sort of minds do they have!? Lol. Some people will love you for your laugh. And then there will be those that hate you for it. That can sometimes be discouraging, and even make one want to quit laughing. But should you? Is laughing something that should be controlled, or is it something to be encouraged? Even in ourselves? I must say I have a very STRONG opinion on this… but first I'll share some verses.
