Until It's Time To Wear White

Hello.  I've been wearing lots of yellow since I stopped blogging. There are dried wildflower bouquets all over my car. I've shaved maybe three times in the last couple years. I've worn shoes only a handful of times. I applied to a school for the first time ever in my young life this week. . . but I've been teaching embroidery classes at a couple different Montessori schools all summer.  I'm cheerier, and older, and quieter. I'm not wiser, yet. I've started writing again, last month, working every day on my novel, just a few sentences. I'm writing about a happy character named Eden, and so for at least five minutes every day, I too am happy.  Been learning French for four months. I might be smart, but I can't master English. Friends and family constantly remind me of this. But soon I shall be saying to everyone, " Pardon, your French  ain't spelled quite right."  Where have  I been?  I...

One Year Blog

Hey, every body!!!!!!!!!!! My blog is one year old today! :) Now, how exciting is that? Pretty awesome, if you ask me :D My blog has done pretty well for a first year (I think). I have 13 followers through blogger and more through email (I don't know how to tell how many followers I have through subscribed email). This will be my 63rd blog post and total comments are 220 - that is average 3-4 comments per post. Not too bad ;) And I've got views from all over the world :) That's pretty neat, I think :) Average views per post is 44. This last blogging year has been a lot of fun. I've learned a lot about blogging - with a cell phone - and I've had tons of fun. But there were times I was like "Why did I even start this thing?" Like when I was too busy to blog or my blog wasn't getting as much traffic as I would have liked. I had read others' blogs for about two years before starting this one. And since I sent out alot of group pictu...

Blog link-up: Random Fun :)

I am answering questions from a linkup from Bethany and Becca's blog, Clever Bunnies. ~ Paste the button onto your blog post. ~ Leave a new list of questions (or just pass on the question list you answered) and tag a few people of your random choice (and say why you tagged them, if you have time!) (Be original and nonsensical in your question-creativity - make the blogging world a cheerful place :-) And be disastrously random.) I tag anyone that wants to do this. Post your answers in the comments or your own blog. Just let me know if you do it on your blog :) My questions are; Who's your favorite author? What sort of shoes do you prefer (boots, sneakers, Flip-flops...)? If you could do one crazy thing that would shock the whole world yet still be decent Biblically what would it be? Do you prefer pizza or cheeseburger? What do you normally use - a hairbrush or a comb? Do you normally wear jewelry? What is your favorite farm animal? Are there any names in l...

An Update of When I Was Away [ Learning New Things ]

Everything that has been happening the last few months while I was away volunteering... Knitting: Socks, Scarf. I also got to teach a few other girl's to knit, which was really fun!! Cherish, one of the girls and also a really good friend, took on real quick and made a bunch of things. Hat and mitten set. And the friend I made it for. A really good friend, Callie , showed me arm knitting. Crocheting: The first thing I crocheted: a scarf for Keziah. Thanks to a wonderful girl named Cheyenne, I learned to crotchet while I was away. Hat I crocheted for my brother. A necklace I made for myself. Baking: I made this THM sugar free blueberry cheesecake a couple times. Green been, cheese, onion, sour dough casserole. I made quite a few of these chocolate, raspberry, zucchini, sugar-free (xylitol), 100% spelt loaves. 100% spelt sugar free cinnamon rolls. Icing ( not shown ) was made from cream-che...

Something Different Than Valentine?

I don't know why I'm doing this, this month, except that I've got in the habit of doing this every month, so yeah... See Cait's blog. A couple days ago a friend was reading a book and I snatched it out from her hands. "Look interesting?" She asked. I read the back cover. "No! It looks like a romance!" "What? You're crazy." Then she hollors to someone to talk some sense into my head. "This girl doesn't like romance." She was like, "How do you expect to get married." And she said she's not reading any of my stories with out the characters getting married. She doesn't know I've already tricked her ;). And here I am writing a post about a 'couple' of mine :) Well, let me just say this book has a very different ending :) Haha. So, trying to not give away any spoilers, here are my answers to this months Beautiful People: Valentine Edition. May I present to you Taylor Ibori and Mashaki ...
