Four Year Blogiversary

On August 4th I will have been blogging for four years. This is my first post . In many ways I feel as if I have been blogging forever. Only four years??? And the more I think of it the more I'm amazed, because I've lived so much life in these last four years. It was soon after starting my blog that I first traveled away from home, alone  and during the years since I have traveled more times than I can remember, making tons of friends and learning so much about life and people In some ways I feel like the person that started this blog four years ago is a distant memory. At least outwardly. But I'm also the same. It wasn't long after starting this blog that I wrote my first opinionated piece . Since starting this blog I've wrote all my best works , finishing tons of short stories and some novels. In many ways this blog is exactly the same as when I first started it. It's still pink and green. Still random, mostly designed to share my thoughts and conne...

The Conundrum Of Consequences and Choices

Awhile back I saw this video discussing why choices should be limited.  Or more like, why we shouldn't create more choices. While the guy made points that sounded good, they were in fact rooted in man's philosophy and not God's truth. Before I explain, let me rant: You don't fix stupidity by taking away choices.  It's not about choices but what we choose. Idiocy isn't fixed by a forced utopia. First, you don't need to watch that podcast. In fact I don't recommend listening to it as it's not all appropriate. I'll explain everything that it says in the following paragraph:  There is an accepted belief that people perform better if they have more choices. With this belief people create more and more, so that there are now 175 different salad dressings. And has this helped people improve, make better choices? No, it has made them stop and wonder...
