These Are A Few of My Bȇte Noire

"Your life is defined by what you hate. Whatever you don't hate you allow, and whatever you allow you will never change" ~ Myles Munroe Immaterial things I hate: Cold Spicy food Snow Ice (even in my soda) Soda (maybe an occasional sip is all right) Unnecessary chaos Winter Dogs Freezing Dirt where it doesn't belong Lazy people Video games Trash: on the side roads, inside and outside of houses, and on people instead of decent clothes. Being cold Material things I hate: Abortion Stupid Idiots aka Selfish Idiots Cold Death Misunderstandings Men who are narcissistic jerks Women who are narcissistic jerks People are who are obsessed with cutting "toxic" people from their lives but refusing to love anyone besides themselves False philosophies (socialism, "follow your dreams", "love yourself", etc) Complacency Inaction Hate Sin While I've written many posts on loving more , I think hate isn...

Innocent Love and Righteous Hatred

This post shall be a bit different. Parts of it will look almost blasphemous, to be honest. But If you get to the end I hope you will see that I'm not being so. I honestly hope I'm sharing truths I'm learning. Awhile back on Facebook an uncle of mine shared a post. I'm not sure what point he was trying to make. Or if he was even trying to make any point. I replied, being both silly and serious. And then another uncle replied . . . being both silly and serious. I'm thinking he kinda meant his last comment as an insult? Here's the conversation: A friend just let me know that these words my uncle posted aren't actually his words, but in fact a quote from Mark Twain. FB can be very misleading at times ;)  Anyways, this got me to thinking. About when I was little. And about now. Why I used to pray for Satan. And why I don't anymore. And, yes, I used to pray for Satan. I used to pray that all my family and friends would love Yahweh mo...

I'll Love You, Unless...

I'll love you, unless we don't get a long.  I'll love you, unless you aren't my type . I'll love you, unless we aren't compatible. I'll love you, unless we are just too different. I'll love you, unless you annoy me. I'll love you, unless you are an idiot. I'll love you, unless you hate someone I like.  I'll love you, unless you tend to make the same mistakes over and over... and over . I'll love you, unless you go against what's really important to me. I'll love you, unless our families don't get a long. I'll love you, unless you don't stick up for me. I'll love you, unless you don't hold the same goals as I do.  I'll love you, unless you are weird . I'll love you, unless it doesn't make sense to love you. I'll love you, unless ... who are we kidding ??? I'll...

I Had a Little Troll, But It Wasn't Cute

So... had an interesting cyber experience this summer as a result of going to federal court with my Dad in Nevada - my first personal experience with trolls.  A lot of my dad's friends seem to not like it so much (I guess having lies told about you constantly isn't the most fun) but to be honest everything that was said was so outrageous I found it hilarious.  Yes, I laughed. A lot.  I mean - publicity is good, whether positive or not, yes? Lol... not exactly ;p  But still - very funny. I think you all remember I went to a writer's conference in July? I wrote about it here .  Now, some info for y'all. My dad does politics full time. Meaning he attends all the trials for the men involved with the Bundies and other men who are being prosecuted, as my Dad feels, wrongly. He updates the public through his Facebook page, reaching thousands of people and telling them what happens in the courtroom. Letting many people know about things that t...

Women, Where is Your Identity?

All you ladies out there, I just want to take a moment to express some thoughts of mine. And make you think. And ask you this question: Who determines who you are? Thoughts toward a disgusting attitude that seems to becoming so predominate as of late. Selfish, vulgar, and even down right false. It's where we women are acting like the world owes us something as we have somehow been mistreated? We aren't privileged? We have no rights? We are somehow being oppressed by men? I'm told that I'm just lucky to not have experienced such things at the hand of man when I try to stand up for my father, brothers, and guy-friends by stating “All men aren't evil.” I'm told I'm stupid and ignorant when I say “I don't hate men.” Stereotyping and being hateful toward men seems to be justified by this: statistics prove what experience can't. It doesn't matter that I or you don't know any evil, white guys. Statistics prove that women are m...
