Girls hiking in their skirts with their guns = exercised feminine rights  I used to hate hiking. But then I used to hate a lot of things. I had been wanting to see Alexa's baby (Alexa is the girl on the far left) and I hadn't actually yet met Keziah (the third girl to the right). I really needed a break from writing and cleaning, and for me that means hanging out with friends. But I don't really like shopping (spending money is stressful, y'all) and I like to be active. So I decided to kill three birds with a stone — I planned a girls' hike up near where Alexa and Keziah lived so I could meet Alexa's baby and meet Keziah. Best "mutli-tasking" idea I've ever had! We had a fabulous Sabbath ( most of us keep Saturday sabbath ) of hiking, fellowship, and fun! When I finally went home I was refreshed and inspired. Great conversations had happened. We encouraged each other, discussed what was on our hearts, and grew. It's hard to expla...

Hello... here's a surprise post!!!! I have been having fun playing around on the piano, just making up things. Well, honestly I'm not sure I'm making them up? I think my fingers have just been doing an OK job of capturing my wordless emotions ;) Anyways, enjoy :D

As you can see this world is full of lies. Contradictory lies, too - it's not too hard to pull them apart, either. Here are some: It takes two to fight . - Then there would never be a victim. Or slaughter. Just love yourself. - If this were so easy then suicide wouldn't be a thing. You are beautiful. - Sometimes you aren't. Just being honest. Skinny is healthy. -It's just not. It's really not even beautiful. This sex-craved world just keeps changing it's mind on what's healthy{ beautiful } and tries to drag the rest of us down in death. Work hard and your dreams will come true. - Sometimes they won't. We can't control life. Good things happen to good people - They happen to bad people, too. And bad things happen to both good and bad people. If your heart is good people will see. - No matter what you do there will always be people appearing to be good that will treat you like trash. Hey, everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic week. Modesty . It's one of those tricky (stupid, it often seems) things. To dress or not to dress? ( Or how much should I "over dress"? ) I've seen a lot of different opinions on this. Mostly it seems that the issue of modesty is over stressed. -Not saying "Modesty is in my heart, not how I dress" illogical stupidness.- I'm saying that dressing "holy", like Amish or "modest trash" isn't the solution either. Most of those sort of people forget to make allowance to the fact that we are girls and need to dress accordingly. Men and women both need to dress differently , not to make one more or less inferior to the other, but because they are both different. But how can one dress both modestly and femininely?
