Character Comparison: Jane Eyre and Anna Karenina

Comparison of the novels Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë and Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy Contains spoilers By Keturah Lamb, July 9, 2022 Jane Eyre is feisty and not very pretty, so we are told. But we fall in love with a little girl who has a sensitive heart willing to forgive those who torment her and to pray for them. The plot quickly turns away from the wit and misfortune of a Jane Austen type story and we see a foreshadowing of all the dark, sordid things ahead when Jane is locked in a room where she believes to see a red demon.  Anna Karenina makes quite the first impression. She is beautiful, elegant, but above all she sees those around her and all feel known and loved by her. In her first scene we witness Anna missing her son, but she is here to save her brother’s marriage. She exhorts her sister-in-law to forgive. Blog Link Up: Character Evaluation

It has been so long since I've joined in the blog link up hosted by Paper Fury . So long. Hopefully you enjoy my main character, Cassie. She can seem a little intimidating from a first glance, but once you get to know her as Amanda has you will love her. 1. What first inspired this character? Is there a person/actor you based them off? To tell you the truth I'm not sure how this character came into being. She's nothing like me. She sort of came out of a dream along with the plot. After that a lot of thought and imagination. When I had been writing about Cassie for two years I did meet someone that reminded me a little of her, so sometimes I will observe this person for ideas when writing my MC, Cassie. 2. Describe their daily routine. I haven't thought about that much. My stories don't move through a routine but through major plot points. I'd say it looks like this: Sleep, get up and run out of her room grabbing something to eat, work, get through...
